Iowa's new governor having a tough time winning support

Iowa's returning governor is having a tough time just one month into the job.A new poll by the Des Moines Registers shows that only 45% of Iowan's are happy with Governor Branstad's performance so far.Branstad has proposed tight budget freezes, cutting hundreds of state jobs and freezing some education spending.But according to the poll three-fourths of Iowans are unsure that he can deliver on his promises of 200 thousand jobs in the next five years and increase family incomein the state by 25%.This is Brandstad's second time in Iowa's top job.He also served as governor from 1982 to 1998.
