KHQA makes it into a book about ghosts

Do you believe in ghosts?

The author of a new book isn't trying to sway you one way or the other, but hopes you give his book a read.

"Echoes From the Grave" is the second book written by Central Illinois resident Larry Wilson.

This book chronicles his way through many haunted areas from Kansas to Iowa to Illinois and to Indiana.

One interesting part of this book ... some of our staff at KHQA are mentioned.

Two years ago, Wilson did an investigation into a home in Adams County, and Chad Douglas and Tegan Orpet tagged along.

Wilson says in order to investigate hauntings, you have to have an open mind.

He says skeptics already have their minds made up before hand.

"I also don't try to convince people by the stories I write about this stuff whether they are legitimate and real. You have to experience it yourself in order to believe it," Wilson said.

You can get a copy of Echoes From the Grave and get it signed by Larry Wilson Thursday, May 16th at Granite Bank Gallery.

Wilson will be there from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

You can also order it online through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
