Bidding ended Monday for a historic art collection found in Lewis County, Missouri.
The paintings belonged to artist Virginia Shoup Terpening of Lewistown, who died in 2007.
Lewistown resident Jason Geisendorfer bought the trailer and its contents from Terpening's daughter a few months ago. Click here to read that original story.
Although she showed her art with famous names like Warhol and Wyeth, Virginia never sold any of her work.
The over 200 piece-collection were part of an online auction that ended at noon. Click here to check out the Terpening Collection on the iAuctionandRealty website.
It is too soon to know if the entire collection was sold.
It was put on the auction block in the hopes of being sold to a gallery so it would be preserved and appreciated for years to come.
