130 miles in less than 24 hours-- by foot. Do you think you could do it? Well these people are.
They're running from Quincy to Peoria to raise money for St. Jude Hospital. The Quincy run has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars in its first five years. It's fun for some, and has personal meaning for others.
"It means the world to me. I've been affiliated with St. Judes for 19 years now. My oldest son is a survivor. My youngest boy who's 13, he passed away 3 years ago so St. Jude is everything," said runner Brian Blakley.
Once the runners get to Peoria they will join other runners to kick off the St. Jude Telethon at the Civic Center.
