Your place to go for senior citizen resources

KHQA is once again proud to sponsor the 2013 Resource Expo on Thursday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center.

You'll find resources for everything from banking and finance to hospital information to scams.

It's free and open to the public.

Not only is this geared to be a one-stop shop, but also a springboard so you're able to know where to look for more information.

We'll have some state agencies here. The Secretary of State will be doing driver's license renewals, photo ID renewals. The State Treasure's Office will be here doing the Cash Dash program, helping find some possible lost money," Bill Stehl, the Activities Director with the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center said.

Stehl says this is also a good place for younger seniors, persons with disabilities and families to go.

That way you can see what resources are available as you or your family member gets older.
