Woman dies from shooting near Timewell

The Brown County State's Attorney has announced the indictment and arrest of David Dunn, 61, of rural Timewell, Illinois on involuntary manslaughter charges.

UPDATE: November 11 at 4:12 p.m.

The investigation is continuing into the shooting death of a Timewell Illinois woman Wednesday night.

Details about the shooting indicate that David Dunn and his wife Christine were moving guns out of their house when the 56 year old woman was shot in the head and died.

Brown County Sheriff Tom Snowden says the couple had recently sold their house near Timewell and were moving into a fifth wheel camper.

The Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling is handling arrangements.


Authorities are investigating a shooting near Timewell, Illinois that appears to be an accident.

KHQA has learned a married couple was packing their home to move when somehow the wife was shot and killed.
