A Lewistown, Missouri woman is in trouble with the law accused of stealing money from an organization without its consent.
The Lewis County Sheriff's Office says Katherine Oenning embezzled more than $3000 from the LEMO Recreational League.
Oenning served as secretary and treasurer of the organization.
She's also accused of writing a $700 check without the league's consent and using the money for her own purposes.
A formal complaint was filed last month.
Oenning was released after posting bond.
