Wintry weather impact for the Tri-States including cancellations

A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday for much of the viewing area. Two to four inches of snow developed Wednesday night with some higher amounts in the southernmost areas of the Tri-States.

Gusty winds approaching 25 mph at times resulted in some blowing and drifting snow.

A relative warm up is in store this weekend -- but we will fall back into the single digits and even single digits below zero as we head into next week for high temperatures with another arctic blast expected.
