      The Office of the State Fire Marshal is still investigating what started an early-morning fire Wednesday in Warsaw.

      An occupant is recovering from minor burns after fire sparked in his home.

      An officer with the Warsaw Police Department said that the chief of police intends to release more information about the fire Wednesday. Officials from the Warsaw Fire Department could not be reached for comment Wednesday morning.

      Firefighters were called to the home at 1020 Crawford Street around 2 in the morning.

      They arrived to find heavy smoke and a fire contained in the living room area.

      The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

      The homeowner refused treatment at the scene, despite minor burns and singed eyebrows.
