Veterans Resource Fair to take place in Macomb
Macomb veterans can expect a veterans resource fair.
It will take place at the Illinois Army National Guard Armory on Saturday, April 22nd.
More than 20 organizations will set up to assist veterans.
Resource Fair founder and 29-year veteran James Minor says the goal is the health and well being of veterans after they return home.
"Twenty two veterans a day commit suicide, if we can try to get veterans to come, talk to other veterans, talk to veterans services, we could cut the number down of suicides per day," said Minor.
Minor says there will be another event held this fall but the date is yet to be determined.
