Ursa Park Festival kicks off summer slate of weekend festivals

One of this summer's first weekend festivals kicks off this weekend in the Tri-States.

It's the Ursa Park Festival.

It starts this Friday night with a little Mr. and Miss contest.

Events include baseball games, a car show, kid's tractor pull and much more.

It concludes Sunday with a worship in the park service, followed by lunch.

Of course, it's not just open to those who live in Ursa.

"Anybody that's looking for a good time. It's a very family oriented event. It's for kids. It's for adults. There's games for kids to watch and a band for adults later in the night. And who doesn't like fireworks? It's really for everyone," organizer Paul Bealor said.
