Unidentified woman set to claim her winning Powerball ticket
Fri, 27 Jan 2012 14:15:21 GMT —
The manager of the West Quincy Ayerco confirms that a powerball lottery raffle ticket where the grand prize is a trip for two anywhere in the world has been sold at his store.
The manager says an unidentified woman came into the store on Thursday, had her ticket scanned by the Missouri lottery machine and it confirmed the ticket had the winning numbers.
Now the woman must take the ticket to an official lottery office in Jefferson City or St. Louis to be validated and to officially claim her prize.
Missouri Lottery Executive Director May Scheve Reardon originally advised all players who bought Powerball tickets in West Quincy to check their tickets. The winning Bonus Raffle ticket in the â??Go Anywhere Getawayâ?? promotion was issued at Ayerco, 8800 Highway 24.
The winner is holding a ticket to anywhere in the world.
This is the first grand-prize winner in the â??Go Anywhere Getawayâ?? promotion. Five players also won a travel prize package, and 100 players won $100 in cash in the first drawing.
