Two Quincy men arrested in separate meth-making operations

Two Quincy men face various meth-related charges.A call Tuesday night to the police about a possible meth lab in operation at 1402 Cherry led to the arrest of Tommy Toolate, 46.Officers found large amounts of meth and meth-making materials in the home.Further investigation led the officers to 938 Payson where officers found a meth lab, meth waste and finished meth in an unoccupied upstairs apartment.Police arrested Henry Speirs, 46, who lived at the residence.Two children also were discovered at the Payson home while the drugs were being manufactured.The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team helped the Quincy Police Department clean up both locations.
