Two plead guilty to 2016 Adams County drug bust
Kevin Dromey and Emily Goodwin pleaded guilty Wednesday to a September 2016 bust.
On September 22nd, the Adams County Sheriff's Office and the West Central Illinois Task Force acted on information regarding a cannabis drug trafficking and conspiracy investigation.
Dromey and Goodwin, both of Quincy, were suspected of trafficking large amounts of cannabis from Colorado to the Quincy and NEMO areas.
In court, both individuals pleaded guilty to one count of Unlawful Criminal Cannabis Conspiracy.
In return, a more serious charge of Conspiracy to Traffic Cannabis was dropped.
Both remain free on bond and will be sentenced in August.
