Two Keokuk residents were arrested Monday on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force arrested 29-year-old Christopher Matous and 21-year-old Eryn Eppel at their residence at 3014 South 7th Street.
The arrests occurred after an attempt by the Keokuk Police Department to serve an arrest warrant led to the discovery of a meth lab.
Both Matous and Eppel are charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine in excess of 5 grams and maintaining a drug house.
Matous is also charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Eppel faces a maximum of 27 years in a state correctional facility if convicted; Matous faces up to 102 years and 30 days if convicted.
The Lee County Attorney's Office also assisted in the investigation.
