Trick-or-Treat safely in the Tri-States


With Halloween upon us, KHQA would like you to know some safe places your children can go trick-or-treating.

In Quincy:




The Crossing Church is hosting Orange Rush events at its churches around the Tri-States. On Thursday, October 31 in Quincy from 6 to 7:30 p.m., you can take part in Orange Rush at the 48th Street campus and then from 4 to 6 p.m. at the 929 campus.


Mall-O-Ween will take place at the Quincy Mall on Thursday, October 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. It will take place rain or shine and is free to trick-or-treaters.

In Pittsfield:




The Crossing Church is hosting Orange Rush events at its churches around the Tri-States. On Thursday, October 31 in Pittsfield from 6 to 8 p.m., you can take part in Orange Rush.

In Hannibal:



The Hannibal Police Department 33rd Annual Children's Halloween Party will be held on Thursday, October 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center at 301 Warren Barrett Drive.

In LaGrange:


The LaGrange Youth Center Family Halloween Party is Thursday, October 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. and it will include a magic show and balloon "Dude" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

In Canton:


The Canton Kiwanis Trunk or Treat event is Thursday, October 31 from 6 to 7:30 in the High School parking lot. There will also be an annual costume parade in the cafeteria starting at 6 p.m.


The First Baptist Church of Canton's Harvest Party and Trunk or Treat event is Thursday, October 31 in the church parking lot from 5 to 8 p.m. Come for the food, hot chocolate, games and Halloween candy ... there will also be a campfire service from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

In Shelbina:




Shelbina Fire Protection District will host its annual free Halloween Party at the fire station at 204 W. Chestnut St. In Shelbina Mo from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Halloween night, with hot dogs, treats, and glow necklaces given out.
