      Tri-State road condition reports

      UPDATED: February 25 at 1:52 p.m.

      No news is good news for the Tri-States when it comes to road condtions Friday.

      At this time, there are no additional road closures due to weather conditions.

      We will continue to monitor the area for weather related updates.

      TRI-STATE ROAD CONDITION REPORTS AS OF 4 A.M.

      ILLINOIS

      QUINCY

      In Quincy city and state crews were out overnight clearing roads. They're urging drivers to be careful because of slick wet roads around town, especially intersections.

      ADAMS COUNTY

      Drivers also need to take extra caution on county and side roads in Adams County as well because of blowing and drifting snow.

      That's especially the case in Ursa bottoms, where roads are nearly impassable.

      BROWN COUNTY

      Brown county crews are reporting snow packed side and county roads. Drivers please use caution.

      CASS COUNTY

      Cass County reports slippery driving conditions. County crews are out but blowing and drifting snow is making it hard to tell where the sides of the roads are.

      HANCOCK COUNTY

      In Hancock County, most side and county roads being snow covered and slick this morning.

      MORGAN COUNTY

      Morgan County also reports slick and hazardous road conditions in that area.

      Drivers should use caution on snow-packed county and side roads.

      PIKE COUNTY, IL

      Pike County, Illinois reports several slide-off accidents overnight. Crews were out overnight but drivers need to take care on outer roads, bridges and overpasses.

      SCHUYLER COUNTY

      Same story in Schuyler County.

      Crews are reporting snow covered and slick county roads. Crews are still working on highways there.////

      SCOTT COUNTY

      Drivers need to take extra caution on county and side roads because of blowing and drifting snow.

      MACOMB

      City crews were out overnight in Macomb. Drivers need to take their time and watch out for some slick spots on the roads.

      MCDONOUGH COUNTY

      State crews were out in McDonough County overnight but again county and side roads are still the biggest concern.

      JACKSONVILLE

      Crews are out in Jacksonville where they report slick road conditions as well.

      MISSOURI

      In most places the updates are the same...most main roads and highways are clear but secondary and gravel roads remain snow packed and drivers are urged not to travel on them.

      MONROE CITY - URGENT UPDATE

      Westbound Hwy. 36 is closed at Monroe City. A tractor trailer overturned and MoDOT crews are rerouting traffic at this time. That is per Marisa Brown-Ellison with MoDOT.

      HANNIBAL

      Hannibal city crews were out overnight but drivers still need to be careful..there were several slide offs overnight and some of the roads have standing water in them.

      Drivers should still be careful especially on less traveled streets and intersections.

      ADAIR COUNTY

      In Adair County Mo-DOT crews have been working overnight but drivers should still expect patchy road conditions on Highway 63.

      CLARK COUNTY

      Clark County Missouri reports that 136 at Ferguson Hill is a particularly bad area with at least 4 reported slide offs overnight. Again side and county roads will be hazardous this morning.

      KNOX COUNTY

      Knox County side and county roads are snow packed this morning. Mo-DOT crews were out on the highways overnight in that area as well.

      MARION COUNTY

      Side and county roads are snow packed this morning. Mo-DOT crews were out on the highways overnight in that area as well. Take some extra time traveling on those roads.

      LEWIS COUNTY

      Side and county roads are snow packed this morning. Mo-DOT crews were out on the highways overnight in that area as well. Take some extra time traveling on those roads.

      MACON COUNTY

      Macon County reports several slide offs overnight with some abandoned vehicles on the sides of the road.Mo-DOT crews were out on the highways overnight in that area as well.

      MONROE COUNTY

      Monroe County also reports slide-offs overnight. Crews continue work but like everywhere else secondary roads will still be a challenge. Mo-DOT crews were out on the highways overnight in that area as well.

      PIKE COUNTY, MO

      Mo-DOT and City crews have been out in parts of Pike County Missouri overnight, but once again drivers should watch out for slick spots and blowing and drifting on county and side roads.

      RALLS COUNTY

      In Ralls County pay attention to all letter roads. Tey're snowpacked and slick.

      61 and 36 are also problem areas overnight although Mo-DOT crews were out working on them.

      SCOTLAND COUNTY

      Scotland county also reports snow covered side and county roads. Mo-DOT and city crews were out overnight in Scotland.

      SHELBY COUNTY

      Scotland county reports snow covered side and county roads. County crews were out overnight in Shelby County.

      Reports in from viewers in Shelbina say they received no more than 5" of snow overnight. Roads were in poor condition at around 7 p.m.

      SCHUYLER COUNTY, MO

      Schuyler County,Missouri reports four to five inches of snow overnight. Both county and MoDOT crews were out but there are several reports of major snow drifts that will make it hard to see the side of the roads, so once again drivers need to be careful.

      IOWA

      It's also the same story in Iowa.

      LEE COUNTY

      Lee county reports that state crews were out working on the highways overnight but county and side roads will still be a challenge for drivers this morning.///

      VAN BUREN COUNTY

      Van Buren County reported at least 4 vehicles in ditches overnight because of slick roads in the area. State crews were out overnight but county roads are still snow covered.///

      DES MOINES COUNTY

      County crews were working overnight in Des Moines County but drivers are still urged to use caution.
