"Mark Twain on Slavery," a performance by actor Richard Garey scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Sandburg Auditorium in Carthage, is postponed to 7 p.m. March 5 because of anticipated inclement weather.

The Spoon River College BOT meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27 in Canton, Ill. has been canceled. It has been re-scheduled for next Wednesday, March 6.

The Church Women United meeting scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 1 at Good Samaritan Home has been canceled.


The Monday night adult class on gardening topics at Monroe City High Schol has been postponed to Thursday, March 7.

The Tuesday, Feb. 26 Community Foundation of the Quincy Area Grant Workshop in Hannibal is canceled. The workshop is rescheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Bank of Hannibal.
