Three Quincy schools test positive for lead in water at unused faucets
Water samples have tested positive for lead at three Quincy Schools.
Quincy Public Schools Superintendent Roy Webb tells KHQA those positive results came from faucets at Ellington, Baldwin and Adams Schools.
Webb says parents should not worry though - those faucets weren't being used and are now inaccessible.
"We're always looking out for safety, so whenever we get something like this we're going to do what's needed. Parents can reach out to us if they have any concerns or questions," stated Webb.
Superintendent Webb says the QPS District is required by state law to test all possible drinking sources.
