Three arrested on drug charges in Rushville

Three people were arrested on multiple drug charges Wednesday in Rushville.

According to Schuyler County Sheriff Don Schieferdecker, 35-year-old Tony Lashbrook, 29-year-old Barbara Heller, and 35-year-old Christopher Lashbrook were arrested after a parole check led to the discovery of methamphetamine and cannabis inside a residence at 144 1/2 East Avenue B.

A parole agent from the Illinois Department of Corrections and authorities from the West Central Illinois Drug Task Froce conducted a status check on parolee Tony Lashbrook shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

When officers entered the residence, they found methamphetamine and meth-making materials inside the home. Upon further search, cannabis and other drug paraphernalia were also found.

All 3 suspects were arrested on charges of unlawful participation in crystal meth production, possession of crystal meth, and possession of cannabis, among other drug charges.

Tony Lashbrook was also arrested for unlawful use of a property for manufacture of crystal meth and unlawful disposal of crystal meth waste material.

The 3 suspects were taken to the Schuyler County Jail on felony charges. Their bond has not been set.

They are scheduled to make their first appearance in court on April 9.
