Thousands of people were without power in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa this past weekend.
According to Ameren officials, the power outages in Adams County, Illinois started at 10:59 a.m. Sunday.
Officials said at one point there were 9,476 people without power in Adams Co. and 8,735 of those outages were in Quincy.
High winds are being blamed for the outages.
A Wind Advisory was in effect for the Tri-State area through 6 p.m. Sunday for wind gusts up to 50 MPH.
