Four more vehicle burglaries were reported overnight.

Police chief Robert Copley tells KHQA that residents are encouraged to file a report with the police, or call them if they see suspicious activity in their neighborhood.

Cash, electronics, prescription medicine and a laptop computer were taken in the thefts reported Thursday night.

Police recommend keeping valuable items hidden from view or locked in the trunk of your car to discourage thieves from stealing them.

If you have information regarding the burglaries or if you are a victim, call the police at 217-222-9360.
