Teen charged with three felonies in Quincy shooting

The Quincy teenager charged in the Oct. 29 shooting of another teen will have his next court appearance in January.

William Jenkins, 18, is charged with three felonies including aggravated discharge of a firearm.

Quincy Police searched for Jenkins after they say he fled the scene of the shooting at an apartment in the 600th block of South 11th Street.

The incident left an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound through his leg.

Police found Jenkins Oct. 30 near 12th Street and Broadway.

Jenkins was scheduled to make a court appearance Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Adams County. The hearing was postponed until Jan. 8.
