An early-morning fire destroyed a home just outside Quincy city limits Sunday morning.
According to the Adams County Sheriff's Department, the home at 2805 Bonansinga Drive is a total loss.
Homeowners Richard and Lori Pipkin were not home at the time and no injuries were reported.
A sheriff's deputy discovered the fire while on routine patrol around 3:50 a.m.
The Tri-Township Fire Department was called to the scene shortly after.
The home was destroyed by the time firefighters arrived.
They were on the scene until about 9:15 Sunday morning.
A cause has not been determined; the investigation is being handled by the Tri-Township Fire Department.
The fire did not damage any other nearby properties.
The American Red Cross also assisted at the scene.
