There's a new ordinance on the books in Macomb.
The city council unanimously passed a vicious animal ordinance at Monday nights meeting.
The ordinance is not breed specific but rather based on individual animal behavior reported to the city.
Mayor Mike Inman said input was gathered from recent victims, residents and the human society over a period of around six months.
Inman said this ordinance is not just limited to dogs, but includes an assortment of animals both domesticated and exotic.
The new city law takes effect in ten days.
