Snow emergency declared in Macomb

A snow emergency has been declared in Macomb until noon on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Drivers are urged to use caution and drive slowly through the city.

The city will not be conducting wide spread salting in the community over the weekend.

Drivers are urged to allow for extra stopping distances.

Typically during a snow emergency parking is prohibited on Emergency Snow Routes when a Snow Emergency has been declared.

All Emergency Snow Routes are posted.

Residents are requested to relocate any vehicles parked on Snow Routes.

Vehicles parked on a Snow Route during a Snow Emergency may be towed without notice.

Residents are encouraged to listen to local radio stations for weather advisories and details.
