Missouri voters will now head to the polls to give their input on local politics.
Tuesday is general municipal elections for the "Show Me State."
In Bowling Green, voters will choose a mayor and a first ward alderman.
They'll also decide the fate of a half-cent sales tax increase for street improvements.
Voters in Canton will decide whether to issue bonds to finance levee improvements. Residents in the Monroe City School District will decide whether to finance $4 million in bonds for athletic facility and security upgrades.
And in Louisiana school board candidates are on the ballot.
