Shake-and-bake nets two arrests in Quincy
Two Quincy residents are behind bars after a raid at their south side home.
Rodney Rankin, 48, and Carol Franklin, 49, were arrested on numerous counts related to methamphetamine production.
The raid took place at about 10:30 Wednesday morning.
Officers recovered various items used in the shake-and-bake method of methamphetamine manufacturing.
A child under the age of 18 also lived in the house.
Rankin and Franklin were taken to the Adams County Jail.
The Illinois State Police Meth Response Team was utilized in the cleanup of the toxic chemicals.
