      Icy road conditions are to blame for a semi-truck crash that sent two people including a Hannibal teen to the hospital.

      Icy road conditions are to blame for a semi-truck crash that sent two people including a Hannibal teen to the hospital.

      The incident happened Sunday around 5 p.m. just west of Hannibal on Highway MM at Veterans Road.

      The Missouri State Highway Patrol says West Everett was driving his semi when it slid on ice through a stop sign and into the path of 19-year-old Steven Ruby's car.

      Ruby hit the side of the semi-truck.

      Ruby and his passenger were both taken to Hannibal Regional Medical Center.
