Search team locates body of missing Hannibal man near Mark Twain Lake
A search and rescue team has located the body of the Hannibal man who went missing near Salt River and Mark Twain Lake.
Terry Marshall, 62, went missing Tuesday while mushroom hunting.
The discovery was made Monday morning, Sgt. Brent Bernhardt, spokesman of the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
Family members and co-workers grew concerned when Marshall didn't show up for his shift at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, Mo.
The news comes after family and law enforcement asked for volunteers to help in the six-day search for Marshall.
The body was transported to the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. An autopsy is scheduled at the Boone County Medical Examiner's Office in Columbia, Mo.
