The man whose body searchers pulled from Argyle Lake near Colchester, Illinois is former Camp Point Central stand-out quarterback Derrick Hull.
Rescue workers pulled his body out of the lake about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Hull, 22, current lived in Coatsburg.
He and friend Dustin Tanjerose were on the lake Tuesday afternoon when their 14-foot Jon boat sank. Tanjerose, 22, of Camp Point, managed to swim to shore, McDonough County Sheriff Rick VanBrooker said.
Hull was reported missing to law enforcement on 5:45 p.m.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources will investigate the boating incident.
Hull led the Camp Point Central Panthers during his senior year. He graduated from the high school in 2010.
