Two new scams are hitting the Quincy area.
Police say the first one is being done by phone and email.
The victim is contacted by someone claiming to be a family member or friend who's been arrested and needs bond money.
The scammers will provide information for where the money should be wired.
The second scam is a caller claiming to work for the IRS.
The caller tells victims they will be arrested on criminal charges if they don't immediately send money.
Police remind you to never give out your personal information over the phone unless you initiated the contact.
