Quinn urges LINK card users to visit farmer's markets

Low income families in Illinois who use their
at farmers markets can get twice the dollar value for their purchases.
Formerly known as food stamps, the LINK card helps to get nutritious food like fruits and vegetables into the diets of low-income Illinois residents.
The money also helps boost the economy and support children by putting more dollars into the hands of Illinois farmers.
