Quincy stabber heads to prison

Lacinda White, 24.

A Quincy woman accused of stabbing a man in the neck is now headed to prison.

Adams County Judge William Mays sentenced Lacinda White, 24, to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

She pleaded guilty to aggravated battery charges earlier this month after previously pleading not guilty in June.

Police say the incident happened May 20 at a Quincy Housing Authority apartment complex.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man stabbed.

Authorities say White and the victim had a dating relationship.
