Quincy school board prepares for next year's snow days

Thu, 24 Apr 2014 03:51:01 GMT — The Quincy Public School board is taking to steps to avoid snow days next year.At Wednesday night's meeting, the board approved the use of a 2-hour morning delay beginning next year.Board president Stephanie Erwin said if delays had been used this year, the district might have saved four snow days.The board also delayed a decision on the future of valedictorians and salutatorians at Quincy Senior High School.The curriculum committee has debated doing away with the honors.Erwin says that decision will be made in a special meeting next month.
