Quincy Police investigate potential computer scam

The Quincy Police Department is investigating a possible computer scam.
According to authorities, a Quincy resident received a phone call from someone claiming to be a repair company for Microsoft called KBK systems.
The resident allowed the caller to remote access his computer.
The screen then went blank.
The caller told the resident he needed to pay him $450 to clean up the computer.
