Caleb Dickerson, 23

A Quincy man is headed to prison for a February shooting incident.

A judge sentenced Caleb Dickerson, 23, to five years in prison after he pleaded guilty to two weapons charges.

He was arrested on the city's north side after he fired a gun several times near an apartment complex.

On February 3, 2013 Quincy police responded to 1120 Lind Street just before 2:30 a.m. to reports of multiple gunshots.

Officers say
Dickerson stole a truck and took a handgun from the stolen vehicle.

Prosecutors dropped additional charges as part of a plea deal with the state. Click here to read the original story from February.
