A Quincy man that pleaded guilty to making methamphetamine dodged a prison sentence Tuesday, but he'll still see the inside of a cell.
Ricky Barnes, 36, was sentenced to 36 months probation by Judge Scott Walden.
He was also ordered to serve 180 days of periodic imprisonment with credit for 20 days previously served.
Barnes was arrested in August after police say they found a shake-and-bake methamphetamine lab in his home.
Three children were also removed from the home at the time of his arrest.
Barnes was originally charged with multiple felonies including aggravated methamphetamine manufacturing.
That charge was reduced.
