Quincy man accused of dumping meth in Mississippi sentenced

Rodney Gallaher, 46

A Quincy man accused of dumping methamphetamine waste in the Mississippi River is now headed to prison.

Rodney Gallaher, 46, was sentenced to seven years in the Department of Corrections.

He was arrested on methamphetamine charges after his home on Lind Street was raided in September.

Police say that's where they found a shake-and-bake meth lab and ingredients to make the drug.

Gallaher later pleaded guilty to making methamphetamines.

Nine other charges against him were dropped.
