The Quincy University basketball player accused of stealing alcohol and shoving a Walmart employee has now made a plea.
Scott Bruxvoort, 21, pleaded guilty to battery and retail theft charges in Adams County court Thursday.
Police arrested Bruxvoort at the Quincy Walmart in April after they say he shoved a loss prevention officer while trying to leave the store with stolen alcohol.
QU's basketball coach suspended Bruxvoort after the incident.
He'll be sentenced September 3.
