QHS softball team pays it forward at Quincy's Hy-Vee
The Quincy High School softball team gave back to its community by paying it forward.
The team spent Tuesday afternoon at the Hy-Vee on Broadway, paying for people's groceries.
These girls say the Tri-State community has given so much to the team throughout the season.
That's why the players wanted to give back.
"It's amazing just to know what we're doing feels like so little, but to someone it can be so huge. It just makes your day. It's awesome," said team member Kennedy Fleer.
Although this is the first year the team has participated in something like this, their coach hopes to continue the tradition moving forward.
