QCT bids bon voyage to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Quincy Community Theatre surfaces from its very last boarding of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
This production took a new twist on the classic science fiction novel.
Audience members moved with the actors throughout the Quincy Community Theatre.
Director Kelsey Celek thanks the brave attendees who journeyed into the unknown with the cast.
"Our version takes place 9 years after the classic Jules Vern novel. The audience actually gets to participate, they never sit down they don't get to just sit relax and watch. They are characters on the mission to capture Captain Nemo. It's been very different, it's a unique and fun script and we've had a wonderful time working on it," said Celek.
The next student production will be Harriet the Spy.
Auditions will be held September 5 and 6.
The show runs October 26 through the 29.
