A Macomb prank caller who faces forgery charges will have a pre-trial conference Tuesday in McDonough County Court.
Police arrested Alvin Montgomery in May after they say he was making counterfeit money.
Authorities say during a search at his apartment at 321 N. McArthur St. they found a counterfeit currency printer and the remains of a small fire where Montgomery burned other evidence.
He is charged with obstructing justice, deceptive practice and forgery.
An alternate public defender was recently assigned to Montgomery in this case.
Montgomery previously pleaded guilty of dialing in a 911 hoax last year.
He was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. Read the original story by clicking, here .
