A portion of 30th Street in Quincy has reopened after being closed for several hours Monday following a car crashed into a utility pole.
The crash happened Monday afternoon between Spring Street and Broadway.
Ameren crews spent several hours trying to repair the broken utility pole.
The Quincy Police Department reports that a vehicle was headed north on 30th Street, when the driver became districted by a passenger and ran into the utility pole.
The driver was cited for improper lane usage.
