      Police pinch pot and pills in McDonough County busts

      McDonough County deputies made four arrests Sunday in an ongoing drug distribution investigation.

      Timothy Kordecki, 20, Nicholas Madsen, 22, Thomas Romano, 21 and Elena Garcia, 22, were arrested Sunday morning at 11/2 Randolph Street.

      Deputies seized 23 grams of marijuana, Xanax, packing materials and other items used in drug distribution, according to a press release. Officers also seized $5,000 in cash.

      Investigators also conducted a search at 17160 E. 1600th in rural Bushnell where they seized another 700 grams of marijuana packaged for delivery, cash, psychedelic mushrooms and 10 cannabis plants, according to a press release.

      Nathan Lemaster, 27, was arrested at that address.

      Kordecki is charged with manufacture and delivery of cannabis 500-2,000 grams, possession of cannabis 500-2,000 grams and possession of a controlled substance (Xanax.)

      Madsen is charged with resisting and obstructing police officers. A police report says that he fought with a search warrant entry team.

      Romano is charged with manufacture and delivery of cannabis 500-2,000 grams, possession of cannabis 500-2,000 grams.

      Garcia is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

      Lemaster is charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance (psilocybin mushrooms,) possession of a controlled substance, manufacture and delivery of cannabis 500-2,000 grams, production of cannabis plants 5-20 and paraphernalia possession.
