Two people are in custody after a Tuesday afternoon stabbing at 814 Lind Street in Quincy.
According to a release from the Quincy Police Department, Michael Roberts, 39, was stabbed in the neck and taken to Blessing Hospital.
Lacinda White, 24, is charged with the stabbing and was taken to the Adams County Jail.
Authorities also took Christopher Chapman, 19, into custody from the scene.
The incident took place about 3:30 p.m. at a Quincy Housing Authority apartment complex.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Roberts had been stabbed and was located at 8th and Elm Street.
Officers found Chapman inside the residence. Police say he told them that White had fled the scene.
After reviewing video surveillance, it was determined that White had not fled and was hiding in an upstairs bedroom.
Roberts and White had a dating relationship, according to police.
White is charged with aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
Chapman is charged with obstructing justice.
