Police released the identity of the man whose body was found last week behind a Quincy strip mall.
The remains of Charles Hutton, 31, of LaBelle, Mo. were discovered Wednesday night behind Slumberland Furniture in the 5000 block of Oak Street.
The identification was made using a combination of dental records and a state-issued Missouri license recovered from the scene.
A firearm was also located near the body, according to the Quincy Police Department.
No foul play is suspected in his death. Lt. Dina Dreyer said that it appears that Hutton took his own life, but there is no way to know for sure.
The QPD will discontinue its investigation.
Hutton was never reported missing, Dreyer said.
