QU Aviation Club held the 14th Annual Fly-In Drive-In at the Quincy Airport on Saturday.

Area residents flew around Quincy this morning after having a pancake breakfast.

Participants paid $30 for a trip from the airport all the way over the bridges.

Within the first two hours, the event saw around 300 fliers.

"This is amazing. All I can do is smile. This is something we started 14 years ago and it's turned into something amazing," said Chief Flight Instructor Andy Dow.

Money raised helps fund the event and future QU Aviation endeavors.

Speaking of the future, the club is putting together a 5K run for this fall.
