      One person ejected, injured in rollover crash

      Quincy police said the car ran the stop sign at about 12:15 p.m. and struck the SUV which rolled over.

      Police released the names of two people involved in a Wednesday afternoon car crash in Quincy that left a woman hospitalized.

      An eastbound car on 28th Street struck a northbound sport utility vehicle at the College Avenue intersection.

      The car driven was driven by 19-year-old Ashley Brumbaugh.

      Police said that said that Brumbaugh ran the stop sign at about 12:15 p.m. and struck the SUV which rolled over. The SUV driver, 28-year-old Natalie Powell, was ejected from the vehicle.

      Powell's 1-year-old child was in the backseat of the SUV was secured and not injured in the crash, police said.

      The driver was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. She was later taken to a St. Louis hospital by helicopter.

      Brumbaugh is cited with disobeying a traffic control device.
