One injured in Louisiana, Mo. shooting

People are in custody after a shooting Tuesday in Louisiana, Mo.

Police were dispatched about 12:20 p.m. to the 400 block of North Fifth Street after reports of a suspicious car circling the block.

An officer checked the area and didn't locate the vehicle.

The officer was told to return to the area 10 minutes later after a 911 caller reported hearing gunshots.

A gunshot victim suffered a minor injury to the arm that didn't require medical care.

During the interview with police, the investigating officer determined that the man was the passenger in the suspicious vehicle, according to a press release from the Louisiana Police Department.

The vehicle was located. The officer noticed several bullet holes in its side.

Police did not release the name of the multiple people taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
